The 172nd Avenue Project Team invites you to visit their website (http://172nd.com) to review the final Corridor Management Plan, a document that summarizes project history including public involvement, engineering and future implementation of the design. All of the technical memorandums, newsletters and design plans can also be accessed on the website.
Please also remember that you can check the website "Meetings" section for updates on upcoming approval hearings in your area. The next hearing is scheduled with the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners on January 19th and further hearings are scheduled in Happy Valley later in January and February.

This is a reminder that you can check the "Meetings" section of the 172nd Avenue Corridor Plan website for updates on upcoming approval hearings in your area. A few of the hearing dates have changed recently. The next hearing is scheduled with the Clackamas County Planning Commission on Monday, December 12th and further hearings are scheduled for January and February.
Please also look for the final project newsletter being mailed this week with details on the Corridor Management Plan and how you can stay involved in the project in the upcoming months. High-resolution and low-resolution versions of the newsletter are available in the “Newsletter” section of the project website.

A work session is scheduled with Clackamas County staff on Monday, October 24th and hearings are scheduled for December and January.

Since the Open House on July 20th and Project Advisory Committee Meeting on July 27th, the consultant team has reviewed the feedback provided and presented the results to the Project Management Team. Based on the feedback, the Project Management Team chose Alternative AT2 for implementation. Please access Technical Memorandum 8.3 - Preferred Alternative in the "Project Documents" section of the project website for details on how AT2 was chosen. The deadline for submitting feedback using Virtual Open House has been extended through Sunday, July 24th. As a reminder, you can access the virtual workshop using a link on http://172nd.com. If you attended last night's Open House but did not submit your workbook, you can use the Virtual Open House instead of mailing the workbook. If you choose to mail your notebook, please do so today, as we will need to receive your feedback by Monday. Thank you for participating with us!

Help Us Choose the 172nd/190th Alignment! The 172nd Avenue Virtual Open House is available for your use and will be running though Friday, July 22nd. You can access the Virtual Open House through the link on the http://172nd.com front page. If you are not able to attend the Open House scheduled from 6-9 pm at Scouters Elementary School this Wednesday, July 20th, this Virtual Open House will give you the opportunity to choose the alignment you want implemented. Since Public Workshop #4 on March 16th, the project team has done extensive environmental analysis of the most promising roadway alignment alternatives. Technical Memorandums 5.5 through 5.11 document analysis related to Biological Resources, Wetlands, Historical Resources, Hazardous Materials, Soils, Air Quality and Noise. Please also access Newsletter #5 in the "Newsletter" section to find out what else the project team has been working on and to see what is on the horizon. Paper copies were mailed earlier this week.
Please plan to join us at the Open House on July 20th at Scouters Mountain Elementary School from 6-9 pm, where the preliminary preferred build alternative will be presented for your feedback. This is the last public meeting, so please come and vote for your favorite alignment. A Virtual Open House will be available from July 15-22 for those unable to attend.
